Mellow Yellow Monday

Today I went to see the cosmos field in the Expo Park, Osaka. Luckily lovely sunflowers are still in full bloom. I enjoyed two seasonal flowers of sunflower and cosmos. Especially I love to see cosmos dancing in the wind. Happy autumn day.

Floral Friday Fotos

This yellow burst reflects the autumn season. It is getting cooler and cooler and good season for walking around. I took this picture by the river in Otsu city, Shiga Prefecture.

Headband Cat

I took this picture at the Sumiyoshi Shrine in Osaka city. It is famous for its arched wooden bridge. And I found a new star has appeared here.

Spider Lily

Spider lily has a very strong impression. It has a really bright red color and very unique shape. When I find this flower, I feel the real autumn has arrived. This picture was taken in Osaka Castle Park a few days ago. Over the moat, you see a gigantic stone foundation of 400 years old.

Thursday Challenge...Culture

This week's theme of Thursday Challenge is 'culture' and I think this photo is good for it.
This procession is heading for the Shinto shrine in which the traditional Japanese-style wedding ceremony is held. I happened to see this procession at the Hokoku Shrine in Osaka last week. The first two people are musicians, the next four people are Shinto priests and maidens. The bride and groom, their parents and relatives were following. You see  women wearing traditional Japanese kimono.
