First, I would like to thank you for your kind hearts and encouraging words.
Now I am relieved to know that my granddaughter's operation held yesterday was a big success. It was a five-hour operation with nothing happening irregularly. I hear after she is in the ICU for a couple of days, she will move to a general room. I have to wait to see her by then. I can't wait!

Kids Plaza Osaka is an indoor fun museum for kids, aiming to bring kids fresh discovery and surprises from everyday things through playing and enjoying themselves.
This picture shows "Let’s Play Floor" of the 4th floor, where kids can enjoy the ladders and steep slides of Henteko-na-machi (strange town), the symbol of this plaza designed by the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
I really had a great time with my grandson the other day. It has been crazy-hot (38 C/ 100 F）outside in Osaka, but in the building it was really comfortable. Thanks to the modern technology!

This is a lobby of the hospital where Koharu is hospitalized, Osaka Medical Center and Research Institute of Maternal and Child Health. I took these last Sunday, so you can see only one person sitting. On weekday, this lobby is so crowded with little patients and their families. I like this place, 'casue it is filled with wishes and happy-feeling encouragement, such as colorful paintings and equipments.
I post this to Monday Mellow Yellows.

This is a picture of my grandchildren. They are two-year-old boy, Rintaro and four-month-old girl, Koharu. They are my treasures. As I wrote in my earlier post, Koharu has a problem with her heart and will have an operation next week. She has been in hospital since middle of July, but now she is at home temporarily.

This modern architecture is part of Grand Front Osaka which is located just next to JR Osaka Station and opened just three months ago. Now it is another landmark of Osaka. I learned this building symbolizes a ship and all the posts and glasses are different in angle and size.
This is part of Thursday Challenge. This week's theme is "Modern."
