Cherry Blossom #7

This morning my husband drove my mother and me to view cherry blossoms. My mother now has a walking problem and I knew she had wanted to see blooming.  We enjoyed cherry blossoms driving for one hour. My mother is very satisfied.

Cherry Blossom #6

Today's cherry blossoms in Kyoto. Now almost in full bloom in the center of Kyoto city. And great many people pour into the city to view cherry blossoms. Of course I am one of them. Soon they will disappear. That's why I am goaded to take pictures every day.

Rubby Dinner

Last night I had a great time with my daughter in this Japanese-style Indian restaurant "Magicspice" in Namba, Osaka. The outside appearance is all red as you see, and inside too! The food was so yummy.
Next month my daughter will have a second baby. My second grandkid! Excited!!

Cherry Blossom #4

Magnolia and cherry blossom. Each has its own beauty and I love both.

Took this picture from the Middle Gate of the Todaiji Temple in Nara today. You see the huge Buddha Hall and a cherry tree.
I dedicate this post to Scenic Sunday.

These  roadside daffodils were speechless. When I walked during the day, time to time I was knocked down by the beauty of various flowers. This is one of them.
I post this to Floral Friday Fotos.

Cherry Blossom #1

Look!! Today I found the first cherry blossom blooming  in Osaka Castle Park. Today's temperature went up to 20 degrees Celsius, so maybe cherry trees were surprised at the warm weather. I don't know why, but I feel happy to see cherry blossoms (my DNA?). I'm sure I'll post more photos of cherry blossoms soon. Today is the first one. Enjoy it.

Ruby Carpet

This tatami room is part of a mansion of a feudal lord in Hikone and today it is open to public as  museum. We can not enter the room but look inside from the ruby carpet.
I dedicate this post to Ruby Tuesday 2.

Kyoto Station

This is Kyoto Station Building designed by Hiroshi Hara. I took this picture at the place just in front of the station. Some people say it is too modern for Kyoto, ancient capital of Japan. But I love this building. It has various functions, such as a luxurious hotel, a department store, a theater, a museum and many shops and restaurants as well as three Kyoto stations of different railroad companies.

Mimosa Shower

Found this large mimosa bush during my walk. This yellow color is so powerful and delightful.
I dedicate this post to Monday Mellow Yellows.
Have a good start of the new week.

I was happy to stand with three Japanese popular comedians. This is the front of the Namba Grand Kagetsu Theater, very famous as home of Osaka comedy.

In Full Bloom

Just before sunset I was in the Japanese plum garden of Osaka Castle. As you see, almost in full bloom. I'm sure in the daytime a lot of people came to enjoy the bloom.
I can't choose the best picture, so today I'll show you a series of Japanese plums with cyber aroma.

On the Scrounge

Nara Park is famous for its tame deer walking, eating and sleeping freely there. They are watching who buys deer cracker. As soon as they find a target, they come and start bowing on the scrounge like this.

Finally it is getting warmer and I feel spring is around the corner in Osaka, Japan.
How is your place?

Monday Mellow Yellows

This cheerful bus runs in Sakai city, Osaka. Sakai used to flourish as international port town in the 16th century. That's the reason of this bus appearance.

Spring Aproach

Even still cold now, I feel spring is approaching. On the mountain peak you see some snow. But strong rapeseed smell pleasured me. I took this picture at the lakeside of Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture a few days ago.

Weekend Reflections

This is a part of the Japanese garden of Hikone Castle Museum in Shiga Prefecture.
Water is dropping from the bamboo pipe and a red camellia is placed on a green bamboo. On the left side of the stone basin some snow remains.
In the second picture you see several ways to protect trees against snow.
I dedicated this post to Weekend Reflections.
