Fallen Leaves
Winter wind blew maple leaves to the pond. I love fallen leaves, too.

At Heian Shrine
I found this reflection on the small lake of the Heian Shrine Garden in Kyoto. The red umbrella and maple leaves color caught my eyes.
Today Heian Shrine held a special ceremony for the certain tea ceremony group and many kimono ladies came to participate it.

On the Sliding Door
These pictures were taken at the Ginkakuji Temple in Kyoto. Compared to the Kinkakuji Temple, this temple is not so popular, but highly recommend this garden.

Kobe View
The views from the Kobe Port Tower. Kobe is a narrow city sandwiched by the mountain and the sea.
Like the reflection on the large office building.
In the second picture you see a lot of containers on the ground. They are used as the galleries for the Kobe Biennale 2013, which is an art competition held every other year and will open from Oct. 1 to Dec.1.

Delightful Reflection
I found the corridor of the pediatric ward of the Sakai City Hospital where my granddaughter is hospitalized now is decorated with many paintings, stickers and others to cheer up inpatient children and their families. They are really beautiful and heart-warming. This window decoration is one of them.
Thank you so much for giving me your encouraging messages. I am deeply grateful for you. I understand Koharu's heart failure is repairable by the coming surgery.

Open Ceiling Space
This is an open ceiling space of Fukuya Department Store just in front of JR Hiroshima Station. This luxury space caught my eyes, especially the escalator lights and the clock.

In the Zoo
These pictures were taken in the Tennoji Zoo in Osaka. Rintaro was watching a hippo carefully. Even today I love to visit a zoo to watch the behaviors of animals, especially orangutans. Zoo is a wonderful place to go!

In the Pond
This is one of my favorite places. You see the two-story architecture standing in the pond. It is Taiheikaku located behind the main hall of the Heian Shrine in Kyoto. It works as a bridge and observatory. You can sit on the bench to feel the fresh air and see a nice view. Today I enjoyed red maple leaves here.

Kyoto Station
This is Kyoto Station Building designed by Hiroshi Hara. I took this picture at the place just in front of the station. Some people say it is too modern for Kyoto, ancient capital of Japan. But I love this building. It has various functions, such as a luxurious hotel, a department store, a theater, a museum and many shops and restaurants as well as three Kyoto stations of different railroad companies.

Weekend Reflections
This is a part of the Japanese garden of Hikone Castle Museum in Shiga Prefecture.
Water is dropping from the bamboo pipe and a red camellia is placed on a green bamboo. On the left side of the stone basin some snow remains.
In the second picture you see several ways to protect trees against snow.

Museum Window
Looking into the window to see the ethnic displays at the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka, I found a nice reflection of bare trees and clouds.

Reflection and Napoleon fish
I've already posted about this architecture, the Umeda Sky Building. But I can't stop posting it because every time I see different reflection. This is part of Weekend Reflections.
Plus today I'd like to show you this video which I took at the Kaiyukan Aquarium today. This napoleon fish stayed still at the bottom of the tank with only his eyes moving. So funny!

Maple Pool
Some maple leaves still survive here at the Umeda Sky Building in Osaka. Look at the harmony of Christmas trees and autumn colors.
How about visiting and joining Weekend Reflections?

Sunset Reflection
I'm back after five-day business trip to Matsue city, Shimane Prefecture. It is a quiet castle town which lies on the coast of Japan Sea. I was lucky to enjoy the beautiful sunset during the trip. I'm planning to show you some pictures there from today.
I dedicate this post to Floral Friday Fotos and Weekend Reflections.

Unforgettable Statue
I found this metal statue at the corner of the intersection in Kanazawa city, Ishikawa Prefecture last month. It is a work which took some prize, but I didn't memorize it.
To me, it looks funny, but at the same time it cheers me up. Anyway his legs are unforgettable.
I'll post it to Weekend Reflections.
