Kyoto Station
This is Kyoto Station Building designed by Hiroshi Hara. I took this picture at the place just in front of the station. Some people say it is too modern for Kyoto, ancient capital of Japan. But I love this building. It has various functions, such as a luxurious hotel, a department store, a theater, a museum and many shops and restaurants as well as three Kyoto stations of different railroad companies.

ReplyDeleteseveral years ago, I was fortunate enough to be brought to Japan to speak on forensic nursing. I spent two lovely days in Kyoto before going to Akita. My week in Japan was one of the loveliest trips of my life.
