On the Sliding Door
These pictures were taken at the Ginkakuji Temple in Kyoto. Compared to the Kinkakuji Temple, this temple is not so popular, but highly recommend this garden.

Taizo-in Temple
There are lots of Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines in Kyoto. Among them, Taizo-in Temple is one of my favorites. Taizo-in is a sub temple of Myoshinji Temple, Rinzai Zen Buddhism. This Japanese garden is said to be one of the masterpieces of Showa period(1926 ~1989). It looks much deeper than in reality. Every season it offers us the different beauty.

Terraced Paddy Fields in Autumn
It's harvest time. You can see two people are cropping rice in the first image. It must be hard to harvest without using a machine. Took these in Chihaya-Akasaka Village located in the south end of Osaka Prefecture. Such a peaceful village in nature.

Sunset from the Bridge
This is a sunset shot when I was driving on the bridge the other day. The sky was so dramatic.

At Home
Finally Koharu came home from the hospital yesterday. Her big brother Rintaro is happy to be with her. She needs oxygen for easy breathing for a while.
Now she can drink milk much easily than before. I hope she grows up to be strong and healthy.
I will visit and celebrate Koharu's coming home tomorrow.
I really appreciate your prayers and encouragements you sent to me. They gave me strong power. Thanks!

Dragon Fruit
Good news! My granddaughter Koharu was released from the hospital as a trial today and on Friday she has to go back to the hospital for an exam. If everything is OK, she can finally go back home after two-month hospitalization!! I'm excited.

Monday Mellow Yellows
I found this flower in the glasshouse of the Nunobiki Herb Garden, Kobe the other day. I don't know its name but I think it's good for Monday Mellow Yellows.
Have a good start for the new week!

Kobe View
The views from the Kobe Port Tower. Kobe is a narrow city sandwiched by the mountain and the sea.
Like the reflection on the large office building.
In the second picture you see a lot of containers on the ground. They are used as the galleries for the Kobe Biennale 2013, which is an art competition held every other year and will open from Oct. 1 to Dec.1.

Better and Better
This is today's Koharu after the heart surgery held 12 days ago. Soon the oxygen tube is taken away. Now she can smile again and I'm very happy to see her smile.
We call her "Cute baby elephant" with a plastic trunk. Isn't it a nice nickname?
