It's harvest time. You can see two people are cropping rice in the first image. It must be hard to harvest without using a machine. Took these in Chihaya-Akasaka Village located in the south end of Osaka Prefecture. Such a peaceful village in nature.
This is part of Our World Tuesday.
All the varying colors of green add to the symmetry of the photos. The rice fields make beautiful compositions.
ReplyDeleteThat is something I would love to see rice fields.
ReplyDeleteYes the terraces are lovely, and i can imagine the smell of the ricefields. If you will see our Banawe Rice Terraces (I am sure you know it or read about it as a UNESCO Heritage), you will be more awed because they are very steep, shaped on the contours of tall mountains.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGreat green landscape shots. I just placed also 2 green shots but one from another perception. You can look endless to these timeless landscapes. I like them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful greens!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a patchwork quilt.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful world, Annie. The different shades of green and different levels of the fields give your photos a rich texture. Thanks.
