New Dog plan


This is a big news to me.  My family will soon meet a new dog! We lost our beagle Annie last October. She was  a very peaceful and adorable dog and we all missed her very much. We've planned to have a new dog but still couldn't decide the good time for it. Today I talked with my husband about the big loss and how to live more comfortable life.  I spoke my mind to have a new dog to heal our vacancy. He listened to me carefully and agreed with the idea. Wow, thank you, hubby.
I'm looking forward to seeing a new-comer. I believe Annie forgave my decision.

What kind of dog?   I'm thinking ...small-sized brown or black toy poodle. Because it was hard for me to hold 12kg-beagle who hated visiting the vet in my arms, so I want to choose a lighter one this time. Plus my husband doesn't like to see dog's falling hair. I figure toy poodle seems ideal to my family.
Anyway,  I'm planning to find a new family member with my husband this weekend. I'll report about it later.

    That is wonderful news. So sad to lose Annie but a new puppy will heal your hearts. What about a cavoodle? They are gorgeous dogs - a cross between a toy poodle and a Cavalier spaniel. So cute!

    Yes, dogs are great companions too. I hope you'll find one soon. But that origami dog in the first photo looks adorable!

    I can almost feel your excitment. Since hubby and I have been married, we have had 2 poodles. I love them and think they are so smart.

    Sorry to hear about your beagle Annie going to dog Heaven... Our last dog was a chihuahua (Pepito), who unfortunately had to be put down due to recurring kidney stones that caused hi to suffer a lot. That caused a great deal of pain and sorrow and we havent been able ot get another dog since then...

    I hope your new dog will give you lots of happy times! Look forward to seeing the pictures when you get it, Annie!

    I am so glad you are at that point where you can move on. Dh actually suggested a poodle to us as he bought one for his mother for Christmas one year when he was younger. They are an ideal size. Good luck with whatever you decide.
