Winter Camellia
I feel like I've almost been through the tunnel. I can see the light. I don't like to exaggerate my condition, but this cold was a tough one. I think I have lost a few days because I could only sleep in bed. I've rarely experienced such an experience before. But soon I'll feel fine, I hope, with the help of the French brandy. Yes, last night I tried it for the first time. It worked well. Thank you for your advice.
This is a pink camellia I took a few days ago before I was sick. The bright pink caught my eyes.
Have a happy weekend!
This is part of Pink Saturday.

Hi Annie, I am so glad that the brandy helped - it is what got me over my illness last year in the end. Love the pink camellia, I have a bush like that in my garden in Eaglemont. Beautiful, aren't they?

Gorgeous! Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteMy PINK, have a great weekend!
That was a terrible disease for you! I hope you're in the upward trend. Be careful and eat a lot of citrus fruits. In your country is so much healthy food!
ReplyDeleteI think you're brave. By showing the flowers while you're not comfortable. It might brighten your day and the day from others! If I lived in your town, I brought you flowers. Because you were ill. Big hug.
So glad you are feeling better. Love the Camilla. Would love to grow one here. I've tried to grow them here and haven't succeeded yet. They grow well here, it's just that for some reason they don't do well for us.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're on the med, Annie.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful image of a Camellia.
My friends in the cold season are ginger, pepper, garlic and similar things that kill bacteria. Wasabi could help too? I hope you don't catch any more colds this year!
